Flō FD Location Services Policy

This policy explains how Flō FD (“the App”) collects, uses, and protects your location information. As a field dispatching application, access to your location is essential for its core functionality. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

The App collects your precise location using GPS, Wi-Fi, and cellular network information when you are logged in the application. This information includes:

  • Real-time location: Your current latitude, longitude, and altitude.
  • Location history: A record of your location over time while you are logged in the application.
  • Timestamp: The date and time associated with each location data point.

 

2. How We Use Your Information:

Your location information is used for the following purposes:
Dispatching and Task Allocation:

  • To assign tasks to the nearest available field worker and optimize dispatching efficiency.
  • Navigation and Routing: To provide turn-by-turn directions to job sites.
  • Proof of Service: To verify that a field worker has arrived at a designated location.
  • Worker Safety: To monitor the location of field workers for safety purposes and provide assistance in emergencies.

 

3. When We Collect Your Information:

The App collects your location information only when you login to the application. When you log out, location tracking stops. We do not collect your location when the App is closed or running in the background while you are logged out, unless background location is absolutely necessary for a specific feature (and clearly disclosed and consented to, as described below).

  • Your Employer/Dispatching Company: Your location data is shared with your employer or the dispatching company that uses the App to manage their field operations.
