Flō Networks unveiled the strengthening of its security alternatives for SD-WAN managed services with the integration of network and security solutions from Fortinet, a company specialized in comprehensive, integrated, and automated cybersecurity.

The leader in connectivity solutions announced that through a strategic partnership, they would integrate Fortinet’s technology into their extensive network infrastructure to strengthen their offering of secure and efficient traffic routing solutions between corporate and branch offices, data centers, and the cloud in the U.S., Mexico and 12 countries in the Americas, where they currently operate.

“We have fully managed SD-WAN services, in which Flō Networks acts as a single point of contact for the complete solution, including SD-WAN, software licenses, and managed WAN services,” stated Martha Elena Cedillo, Vice President of Enterprise Sales at Flō Networks.

On the partnership with Fortinet, Cedillo pointed out that it “allows them to have an even more complete portfolio to create secure, flexible, resilient, and managed networks for our customers across the continent.”

To help address the scale and variety of cyber threats that continue to grow, with more than 91 billion cyberattack attempts reported in Latin America and the Caribbean in the first half of 2021, Flō Networks will also expand its managed firewall service with the addition of Fortinet’s Secure SD-WAN, providing a solution that combines security and connectivity in a single device.

“Fortinet’s Secure SD-WAN is one of many examples of Fortinet’s commitment to developing innovative solutions that integrate networking and security,” said Jose Medina, Fortinet’s Business Development Manager for Service Providers in Latin America and the Caribbean. He also added that they are pleased with their partnership with Flō Networks “to securely enable their customers to access applications and workloads with the best user experience.”

Flō Networks’ team of experts supports its customers in finding connectivity solutions tailored to their needs with flexible and scalable network infrastructure, providing world-class service.
